Building Blocks encourage children to explore shapes, balance, and construction,

Envionment:

Center time

Designate specific areas in the classroom for different subjects, such as a reading area , art corner, science table, and pretend play area. These spaces allow children to engage in hands-on activities that foster creativity and exploration.

Manipulative Station: Provide a dedicated space for manipulative materials that develop problem-solving and motor skills.

Student Engagement:

Adults encourage children to do stuff by themselves by standing by patiently as they do things .

Adults listen to and encourage children thinking if a child makes a comment the teacher builds on what the child was saying .

2. Environment: Create a flexible, child-centered classroom with designated areas for various activities, ensuring safety and ease of access. Incorporating outdoor learning spaces can also enhance active exploration.

3. Student Engagement: Foster engagement through hands-on, play-based activities, promote decision-making, and encourage social interaction and collaboration among students to support active participation in learning.

By thoughtfully integrating these elements, we create an environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

•Hands-on resources consisting of blocks and sensory items and interactive puzzles should be used for instruction.

•Teachers should include real-life objects from natural materials together with fruits and measuring utensils as teaching tools.

•Multisensory materials which combine scents with texture and musical instruments with markers should be provided.

Environment

•The classroom needs flexible learning areas arranged for three different activities: reading corner alongside sensory play and dramatic play stations.

•A classroom environment should have child-safe teaching areas which welcome students and display visual content that catches their attention.

Student Engagement

•Two key play-based learning methods include storytelling as well as making believe and working in imaginary roles where they can give there opinion.

•Students should participate in collaborative tasks such as group assignments and problem-solving teamwork.

•Physical classes and movement-based engagements are promoted through musical sessions along with dance activities and interactive games and physical activities.
