We have learned about multiple different disorders and the biggest takeaway that i have discovered is how broad each disorder is until we dive deeper in the subject. 
Mental health is so important to live our daily lives and the last thing we need is to not be getting help. There is certain things in place to make sure we are getting this help, for instance I use the counseling services here at ASU for my depression and anxiety. School and our daily lives are hard enough without the stress of our mental health, so when that is added to the mix we need to take care of ourselves.
When doing this past weeks assignment, the reference guide for mental health issues, I learned a lot more than I could ever imagine about our mental health. What I have learned from this unit so far is how severe the impact of childhood trauma is and the impact it has on you when you are an adult. Trauma as a child is sometimes overlooked because it is not as seen as a big deal because you are only a child. But in reality it is a huge impact on how we live our daily lives because of the trauma and the mental health issues it has led to later on in life. Some of the traumas that I dealt with as a kid in my childhood still has an impact on my life today. I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety due to certain events that have happened in my childhood as well as my life now as an adult. With the documentary that I had to watch I chose to watch "We are Columbine".
