What has been challenging for you in this process?

During show week for DRT, it was challenging for me to accept the fact that my piece was going to be different every night. This was challenging because some nights I felt really confident in my performance and happy with the art I created, and other times I left stage feeling more defeated.

What has been a delight for you in this process?

It has been a delight watching myself get more and more comfortable in my improvisation. This piece was a really large learning opportunity for me, and it is really cool that I know that I can now be fully un comfortable in the uncomfortable. This piece required me to step out of my comfort zone and I am delighted with how much I have learned and gotten out of the this opportunity.

What have you learned from someone else in your cast and/or the choreographer/creative leaders of your project?

My choreographer, Angel, taught us many techniques in order to help us get more comfortable with each other and learn how to read each other through movement. These different exercises really gave me insight into new ways to move my body and allowed me to really expand my horizons movement wise.

How have you grown?

I have grown in an abundance of ways. I have really learned how to be comfortable in the uncomfortable and learned how to get on stage with no expectations. I have never gotten onto a stage and not had a plan, so it was super interesting to walk onto stage and be completely comfortable in the fact that I did not know what I was about to do.

This picture shows how close my cast got throughout the process. It was so nice to be able to work with a group of people that I felt comfortable with and felt like I could trust.

I chose this gif because we put in a lot of hard work for this piece and it finally payed off.

This picture connects to my piece because there were a lot of times where I felt like I was in a rut and I didn't know what to do and the only thing that I really could do was keep trying.
