These violations are common in an educational setting because students have access to an immense amount of information and easy access to ideas and concepts. Students may find it easier to steal others' knowledge and information instead of using their own creativity to create new concepts.

What do you think could be done to reduce or eliminate such unethical behavior?

In order to eliminate or reduce this unethical behavior, students should be more educated on what plagiarism is and ways to combat it. Another helpful tool would be to teach students how to cite sources and give credit where credit is due. This will allow a more effective approach to lessen unethical computing behaviors.
