Character: Ponyboy tries hard to sleep at night but can't. As a result he take aspirin tablets. Darry think that he only takes one, but he usually takes four. Before the Rumble the Rumble he took five to get through the night.

Ponyboy asks Soda for advice. This shows how fond they are of each other as siblings(family). This also shows a connection between the two. This shows that like in most fiction novels, there is a relationship between two or more people.
