A big takeaway that I learned was the Titanic sinking.  I also learned that the Titanic was important to the survivors.  I learned that the Titantic was found on September 1,1985.  Lastly, I wish they would have had more lifeboats for everyone and nobody died.

First, on 4/15/ 1912 the Titanic ran into an iceberg and sank.  Furthermore, the night that the Titanic sank there were high tides that could have made the ship run into the iceberg.  Also, Captain Edward Smith was driving fast and was not looking for icebergs. Finally, some boats parts were not made properly that could have made the boat sank

Today people are still remembering the Titanic over 100 years later

First, On April 14, 1912 the Titanic sank in the North Atlantic Ocean.  Secondly, there were over 2,200 people on the ship. Also, they had 20 lifeboats but that was not enough for the people on the boat. Lastly, it took 3 years to build the Titanic and it took less than 3 hours to  sink.

The rediscovery was interesting by Oceanographers.

First, Dr.  Robert Ballard was a Oceanographer who found the Titanic.  Furthermore, He was interested in finding it in 1977.  Also, the ship was not found until 70 years later.  Finally, the Titanic was found in the Atlantic Ocean.
