 Turtle goes into the place where her mother, Mrs. Wexler designs and dresses clothing to people. Turtle tells Mrs. Wexler and Angela her sister that he had seen smoke come from the chimney. Otis Amber talks to a judge about the mansion and how the dead mans cropse lays on an oriental rug rotting away. Theo also told Chris his brother about the westing man and how worms crawl through all of his holes, which Chris thought was just a made up story. Last but not least, the chapter introduced a new character name Sydelle Pulliski. She was known for being the girl that no one notices. She brought up an Idea of putting dead bolt locks on doors but since no one listens to her she decided to break into apartment 3D. The chapter ended with her saying "No one never notices Sydelle Pulliski, but now they will. * All of the heirs are trying to conclude on what their clues were trying to say/give away. If I were one of these snowbound heirs myself, I would not make such of a big deal about my clues, but instead I would try to find similarities between my clues and another's clues because in the 10^th section from the Sam Westing's will, it says:

"Turtle, or T.R. Wexler as she came to be called, always kept her secret about Sam Westing, even from her own family, including her husband Theo. Why do you think she kept the secret? What would you do in her shoes? Can you imagine keeping such a secret from the people most important to you?

My Answer:
I think that she kept her secret to herself and let nobody hear about it, because in some instances you may want to keep some of your personal information to yourself, and not tell anyone else about it. For example, if you have a husband/wife, and you also have a criminal record, you are not going to want to tell your husband/wife that you have a criminal record, because this might make a worse relationship between you two. Also, another reason why I think that Turtle may have kept this secret from her husband may be related to the way that some private confidential matters should not be discussed with others, sometimes it may come to the point where if you do discuss these types of matter with other, you may be violating the law.

If I were her, I also would not tell anybody because (1) nobody would no the secret, (2) nobody would know that you are trying to keep a secret, and (3) you would be safe from all of the trouble that telling someone would cause.
