They will then have to note down the key dates from their time period and bring it with them to class.
Live discussion (in person) - I will check each persons notes before the lesson begins (if they have done them and if they are correct). Learners will then work as a team to create a visual timeline of the history of the internet, using their notes taken from the video.

Supporting a Flipped Classroom

Typically, in L&D, we may run a bite sized topical training event (60 to 90 mins) via MS Teams moderated sessions. To support the Flipped Classroom model, I create a channel for that topic. As participants enrol for the training, they are sent an invite and added to the channel (which contains, typically, the presentation, video clips, PDFs of useful articles, and - potentially - a Padlet showing relevent sites, useful articles, any internal documentation or process maps). Channel members can then interact, ask questions, share ideas. Dont forget MS Forms can be added to your channel so you can include a link to an evaluation sheet, and run polls and surveys. When you join a participant to a channel you can request them to read files, view video clips, or consider questions in advance of the Moderated Sessions. You can also set assignments post session to confirm transfer of learning.
