Simple and easy to use! My only problem with it is the word restriction. Twenty to forty characters doesn't seem adequate enough to answer a question, especially if it's a critical thinking one. Perhaps I'm just not thinking about the right questions to ask, after all I could just ask, "What's your favorite _____?" or "Where should we go for our field trip?" I might end up using it as a useful tool every once in a while, but I don't see myself using it often.
Here is my link!
https://answergarden.ch/421661

Task 5: Two Addition Sites of Teachers

1.Website I investigated: http://goformative.com

I consider this site highly useful, moderately use, of no use. (Highlight one.)

Specifically, for teachers of (grade level and/or subject field):

Honestly this tool can be used by any teacher as long as the kids are in first grade all the way to college and can be used for any subject, especially math or science.

Describe features of interest and usefulness to teachers:

Essentially you can upload an assignment to the website and it becomes interactive so students can physically draw on the assignment, type in a response, show their work, or upload an image. The teacher can assign the assessment, worksheet, or classwork to each individual student and get live feedback as the student is completing the assignment or grade it at the end. There are areas for teachers to add content, such as a website like YouTube so students can view a video, or answer a question. Teachers can easily use this for an in class math question or a worksheet for science students learning about cells to complete at home. As an English teacher you could easily give quizzes about vocabulary or content in class. For absent students, you could upload any worksheet done in class to give them the opportunity to complete it at home. By incorporating technology into your classroom it can help change the pace of the class and keep it interesting.

1.Website I investigated: http://teachingliterature.pbworks.com/w/page/19920355/FrontPage

I consider this site highly useful, moderately use, of no use. (Highlight one.)

Specifically, for teachers of (grade level and/or subject field): High school Literature

Describe features of interest and usefulness to teachers:

It’s an online interactive text for adolescent literature teachers that gives insight on how to teach literature to students. It gives different links to a plethora of websites about specific questions like, “How do I engage students in responding to poetry and spoken word?”. This can be useful since there are links on how to perform poetry, how to teach it, sample lesson plans, and activities. My only problem with the tool is that you are constantly being redirected to a new website, so while I was able to access most of the content, there were a few sites that were down. Perhaps if all the sites were working or if it was kept up to date (last update was six months ago) it would prove to be more useful.

Task 2: Poll Everywhere

Poll everywhere had some restrictions that I wasn't very fond of. For instance, I didn't like the fact that the poll for a live audience only remained active for 24 hours or the fact that if you put the response setting to "anonymous" you couldn't change it back. When I tried to rearrange the image choices on the phone for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd it was difficult to maneuver the images around, which was a huge turn off. On a side note, it's nice to have a plethora of options to customize the poll to your liking.
Here is my link (if it's still active)!
https://PollEv.com/ranking_polls/IPyOQf8r9BaTOYd/web

I was pleasantly surprised about how easy it was to use Mentimeter! At first I was a bit intimidated by the website for the login, but when I only had to pick my layout and input my info it was quick. Something that really peaked my interest was that you can use Mentimeter as a PowerPoint presentation and insert questions as you go along. Considering the fact that there a variety of question types enables me to utilize the tool as I see fit. I see myself using this in the near future for my English class.
Here is a link to vote!
https://www.menti.com/ec73e8
