I want to be a high school teacher so I wonder if the teachers really have much to do with the special needs students? In my experience, it has seemed like the actual special education teachers and paraprofessionals are the ones that adapt the work for that student. I suppose that is more to do with the teachers than the learners. I was a paraprofessional, so I feel like I don't really have any preconceived notions about the learners. I learned, with my students at least, that they were no different from other students.
