Fiddo the Frog Sheet

You will need a cardboard box, small colored popsicle sticks, markers, and scissors or a box cutter. In my video, I used a shoe box with a lid, but you could use any kind of cardboard box. Use scissors or a box cutter to cut 6 slits small enough for the Popsicle sticks to fit through. Mark the slits with different colored markers (red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and purple). Then have your child stick the Popsicle sticks in the matching colored slit. 

You will need the S Cutting Page from the Google Doc, crayons, scissors, and glue

There will be 2 Fine Motor activities to complete today. You will need the Heart Dobber page and the Cutting Straight Lines Page from the Google Doc, a dobber marker, and scissors. See the video below for the Heart Sheet. For the cutting page, have your students cut on the dotted lines.

I used a can of corn in my video, but you can use a pringle can, a cup, or anything that is a cylinder. You will also need the rubber bands that were provided to you. Have your child stretch the rubber band and put it around a can. Please keep the rubber bands for a future activity!

Have your student roll out a playdoh ‘snake’. Either using scissors or a plastic knife, have your students cut the playdoh into pieces.

Materials:

·         Plastic bin

·         Plastic eggs (sent home)

·         oats

Just fill the bin halfway with water add frozen peas and have fun! Use cups to scoop and pour and spoons to catch the floating peas and scoop into cups.

Mix 2 parts cornstarch to one part conditioner. Add more cornstarch or vinaigrette add needed to make it into a dough that isn't sticky or crumbly. 

This is a really easy to make soft playdoh like dough. Roll it around in your hands, pat it on the table, pull it apart, just play and explore the fun texture. 

You can crinkle up the foil to give it more texture.
