Imagine Stage: Sketch 1

This is our first sketch of our plan. We decided to pick sound. What we decided to do is attach the two cups with a string and use the cups as a "telephone." We've seen this done before, and didn't really think it would work. So we decided to make sort of a drum with our own code.

Imagine Stage: Sketch 2

Like I said this our Imagine Sketch 2. We made a drum with a water bottle and rice. We poured out the water and filled it with rice. Our code is 1 shake is "Hello" 2 shakes is "How are you doing."

We ended up going with the Imagine 2 Sketch. We drunk 2 bottles of water and poured a 1/4 cup of rice into the bottle. We then made a code with each shake you do with the water bottle. 1 shake will be "Hello" 2 shakes will be "How are you doing" We decided that this was would be more effective because you can base the sound on how hard you shake the bottle and you have to decode whats being communicated through knowing how many shakes the other person is doing.

Improve 1 Sketch

We decided to add more rice for more sound so that it will travel further. We decided to go with the same design as well. Two water bottles and rice, just more rice. Are thought process was adding more rice will make it louder, so sound will travel further.
