Each had their own social structure where the emperors were always in top with nobles and commoners below them. Another similarity were that they both formed their own irrigation system and men practiced polygamy. However, a difference would be that only men in the inca empire could divorce but women cannot, but in the aztec empire both men and women can. Another difference would be that incas used terrace systems instead of canals or irrigation systems like in the aztec empire. Incas specilized in suspension bridges ,but aztecs didnt;incas didnt have slaves but the aztecs did. Incas used quipos for their messages while the aztecs didnt.
