Here is a time that a staff member did something I appreciated. One of the teachers saw that I was having a rough day. She sent me a note and a bunch of Japanese candy to cheer me up. It was so nice of her, and it made me smile.

The assessments, gathering information and data, the 99 things that go into an IEP or you cannot finalize them, dates, prior written notices, paperwork, contacting parents, setting up meetings, facilitating meetings and uploading paperwork. Thank you to the coworker who not only gave me rides every single day for three months, but also gave my daughter a ride to preschool. She is amazing and I am immensely grateful for her friendship, guidance, and giving heart. Without her, our days would have been 13 hour days a school. I was also going through a lot with my family, so she had a listening ear in the car rides and let me cry many times. Love our time together and still sometimes wake up wishing we got a car ride to just talk.
