His parents, John & Mary, had lost two daughters making him the oldest child. At the age of 18, he immediately married Anne Hathaway who was six years older than him. She was already pregnant at the ceremony so they were truly eager to have a child. His first works were published in 1593 & 1594 and the rest was history.
