1. Refugees are known to be victims of war who try to escape from their country for survival. 

2. It has become a controversy to society's view on the acceptance of refugees into their country.

3. According to USA for UNHCR (n.a.), "A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee his or her country because of persecution, war, or violence".

4. War leads to civilian casualties.

5. They are forced to flee their countries in order survive and keep their families safe.

6. Examples: Syrians in Turkey and Rohingyans in Myanmar/Malaysia/Bangladesh

7. It is believed that refugees could be a benefit to the country.

Firstly,the advantage is that it is beneficial for the country's  economic growth.


According to Matsangou(2015),  countries that accept refugees by extending a hand of asylum is not just morally correct,but economically beneficial.

1. Good for economic growth(can be a  successful integration in the labour market as market nowadays requires acquisition of the requisite language skills )

2.  the country will benefit in the long term from accommodating and preparing the refugees (mainly the youths) for the job market. 
Concluding sentence: Undeniably, these refugees are an asset, not a liability to the country's economic growth.

1.Not only than that, it will also increase the population of its country. 

 2. Increase population 
-    The population of the countries will be balanced after refugees come in.
 -    By increasing new born babies. Government will also give intensive care to the family. 
-      For example ; Singapore, 
3. Job vacancies can be filled 
-     Each of the refugees may came with different working experience or skills.   
-      In order to reduce the crime rate.
 -      Some of the citizens might not want to be working under the hot sun or become a garbage collector and so on.

Thus, it is believed that by increasing the number of refugees will benefits our social and country .

1) Thirdly, refugees is one of the marketing tool for the  "New Humanitarianism". 
2) According to Tirman (2003), new humanitarian is "new beliefs about social purpose."
3) Refugees is that they can fill in the gaps of the jobs from all industries. 
4) Other than that, refugees would be able to bring energy and innovation 
Concluding sentence: As a New Humanitarianism for the development of the country, refugees contributes assistance and cooperation with the local community in everyday life.

1)However there are some countries that are against refugees.

2)According to Embrace (n.d), "increases in population can put pressure on public services." 

This will increase cost of governments to intervene more public transport therefore not able to use for the benefit of the society e.g. Schools,Hospital

3)Ease of movement may facilitate organised crime and people trafficking.

By allowing refugees in a particular country , the crime rate of the country will increase.
Many refugees are known to be smuggling illegal drugs and cigarettes into a particular country.
