Ages: Infant-18 months.

This is a really important developmental stage of a child's life, because we're learning about how to think and act and be a human being. This stage has a lot to due with how we view the world at such a young age. What we learn and how that plays out with our trust in not only the world but also the people around us.

and helpful family that raised me in a way that I could have trust in this stage. I was curious and always wanting to move around and do something. I was told it was very easy for me to move and start the early stage of developments when it came to learning patterns and being watchful of others actions, almost mirroring them. In the end, trust was there more than any mistrust I felt.

Ages: 18 months- 3 years

This is the stage in life where we stop being so dependent on our guardians and start becoming more independent with the things we do. This might be with walking, eating, talking and watching the world around us grow along with us. We begin to understand things more and more in this stage in life.

Once I was going, I was gone. I would move and as a child of course I was clumsy so sometimes I would drop things, spill things, trip and hurt myself. It seemed I had a craving to do more. I was curious and moved to understand those curiosities, almost like I was excited to learn more about the world. I was also soft spoken and tended to play by myself and do my own thing while quietly watching others.

Something I've learned this entire process is that there is a process with development. I knew there would be a science behind early childhood and growing up, but I never expected them to be split into stages like we have them. It's interesting to see that as humans we in a way all come from the same development and stuggles as we grow older.

I can be a generative adult by helping others and also giving more than I take. Whether that's with physical things like money, food, or even clothing. Or if that's with emotional things, like happiness and trust. I strive to be a better person for no only myself, but also for others. I hope that this will be contagious and others can also pass on good deeds.

Ages: 3 years- 5 years

Again this is a stage where we start being less dependent on others, but also where we begin taking initiative. Such as, doing things before it's expected upon by certain people, but we also feel a sense of guilt if the requirements aren't met or we don't do it as efficiently as we hoped.

My mom told me growing up, I was one to take action. There would be times when I would fall into routine of cleaning up toys or saying goodnight to her before bed. They didn't really have to ask for me to do certain things because I already did them. So I was more of the initiative taker when it came to situations like this.

Ages: 5 years- 13 years

Not only do we learn more about who we are and build our own personalities, but we build confidence. We begin to understand what we like while also learning to develop as people.

I think I fell more under the inferiority in this stage because I always wanted to do things by myself and didn't want help or to play with others. There wasn't much confidence to go off of when it came to other people. In the end, as I got older, year after year, I would come more and more out of my shell and begin spending more time with other people while also showing off my skills in sports and school activities.

Ages: 13 years- 18 years

In the last stage we built on our intrests and our confidence. This stage we build our sense of selves, form our identities and learn where we fit in society.

I was defeintly in the confused side of this stage. I didn't know what I wanted or how to achieve the goals that people made for me. It was difficult at first to find out who I was and what I wanted when I didn't know. But again, with time I figured things out and go on my feet. I moved forward and I learned to do something I love with people I care about.

As well as intimate relationships like finding a partner.

I'm currently in this stage in my life. I fall under the isolation part of the category, because I don't have all too many friends. I have a few very close best friends, but that's it. This is another stage that will take time, I'm still young and could find even more friends and possibly a future partner. I just need to be patient.

To tell funny stories and possibly even give others life lessons along the way. I still want to be helpful even if I forget certain things. Maybe even retire with the person I married and watch my kids grow up into adults.
