Xu (2017)  demonstrates that WeChat Pay plays a significant role in the field of mobile payments, offering a wild range of advantages, such as user-friendly convenience, adaptability, and cost-effectiveness, catering to the diverse requirements of the majority of its users, allowing users transfer money in both online and offline seamlessly. Moreover, Mini Programs are lightweight applications within the app that offer a wide range of functionalities, such as games, e-commerce ,traveling and utilities, without downloading other single apps separately. Companies, media outlets and celebrities are able to create official account, in order to connect with their clients on WeChat, providing a platform for marketing and promotions. The Chinese Government has access to the information of users, raising public concerns about the potential use of data for monitoring and censorship purposes. Strict scrutiny by the Chinese government may lead to messages on WeChat being sensitive to policies or contrary to official narratives. This controlling of information could limit access to impartial news and critical discussions, impacting the abilities of perspectives and decision-making among citizens. While WeChat is popular in China and several Asian countries, its usage is not widespread in many parts of the world, particularly among non-Chinese users which as the majority of users are Chinese. According to a reminder from Fuller & Anderson (2023), the Chinese government actively monitors all social media platforms, including WeChat. While this monitoring may offer some level of protection against hackers, it also connotes that no transactions conducted on the platform are entirely private. Most importantly, the public always has concerns about data privacy and monitoring due to Tencent, the influential Chinese tech giant, which has access to extensive surveillance on users. Expanding globally will bring barriers related to languages, cultural differences, and other competition from social media platforms that have already been established in its region. Furthermore, addressing data privacy and increasing users security are crucial for WeChat to have a brighter possibility. As the users become more conscious of their ideas, the platform needs to meet the demand for users privacy, enabling users trust and compliance with regulations. Artificial Intelligence could possibly be used on the WeChat platform in the future, as well as to provide more personified experiences to users. Through analyzing preferences and behavior among users, platforms can deliver more relevant information, services, and advertisements . This will reduce information overload, ensure users observe more relevant updates that they might be interested in. An AI-driven recommendation engine can suggest services based on past interactions, helping users discover new chapters and connect with like-minded individuals.

The Mini Programs provides a wide range of services, and simplify daily and activities such as ordering food, booking appointments and accessing entertainments options. For a majority of enterprises and official accounts, WeChat offers a straightforward channel to reach their target clients, promoting effective marketing and customer engagement, and community building. The functionality of WeChat Group can foster the participation in community and help individuals who have similar interests to corporate and contact. The invitation is required to join in a group, which mean individuals have to be invited by other members in the group with limitation of 500 person. This method is widely adopted by e-commerce market with amount of benefits. Smith (2008) reports that a “ degree of separation” serves as a gauge of social distance separating individuals. Thus, it is significant to remember that the effectiveness of  Six Degrees of Separation Theory depends on various factors, such as the size of WeChat user base, the diversity of interests represented in the groups and the level of interaction and engagement among group members.
