We are celebrating THE 97th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE TURKISH REPUBLIC on Oct. 29 this year.After Turkey's victory in the War of Independence (1919-1923), Atatürk and his fellow friends founded the Turkish Republic.As the leader in the Turkish War of Independence,Mustafa Kemal Atatürk became the country's first president.
