In this task, we want to practise identifying Elements of Art and Principles of Design in an artwork and linking them to its meaning.
1. Look through the videos, and find a scene that you like. Pause the video and screen capture the scene.
2. Analyse: what EoA and PoD that the scene has? Use some adjectives to describe them.
3. Interpret: what is the artist's intention and how do the EoA and PoD work together to bring across artist's intention?
4. Post your answers and the screenshot in one post. Put your name as the title.

Elements of Art:
- Colour: Holographic (COOL)
- Text: COOL, but each letter is in a different font, which attracts me when I first looked at this piece.
- Space: The entire space outside the CD disc includes (another) CD disc and musical notes.
Principles of Design:
- Emphasis: Even though it may not look decent but I think it is a fun piece of art. I feel like when you look at it, it is funny because of the weird proportioned face. (and the fact the hair... uhhh yes)
- Pattern: I don't know how to put this, but CD discs and musical notes, are kind of related?? Somehow?? I mean if you think of it that the CD plays music and musical notes form music, so yeah.

Artist's intention:
I think that the artist is trying to make a musical related artwork but in a funny way, and a way in which normal people would not think of. It may not be attractive to some people but I think it is a very different yet interesting and cute way of promoting 'music', something I can try too!

EoA :
Colour : neon-ish words with a black background
Text : BOLD and BRIGHT
Depth : 3-dimensional waves of the text in a 2-dimensional medium, such that it gives an idea of illusion.

PoD :
Pattern : there is a constant appearance of the same word "MOOD" across the entire screen, making it an EMPHASIS in this cut.
Contrast : a bright neon yellow colour against a black dark background makes the scene very visually striking.
Movement : foreground containing the text waves towards the side while background remains stagnant.

I believe that the artist's intention of this scene is to convey that one's mood can flow and be affected very easily. It also shows how impactful one's mood is to the entire atmosphere and how much it stands out.

There's a paper crane in the corner (Paper cranes represent luck and wishes coming true)
Colour: The background is a bit darker as the base colour is black. Other parts have very bright and eye-catching colours.

Principles of Art
Rhythm: The things are just moving about randomly
Contrast: The main objects in the picture have colour contrast against the background as they are brighter

Artist's intention:
I think the artist is trying to show more positive things based on the colours and how the objects flow smoothly despite the background being darker and glitchy (in the next few seconds). It's like telling us "Life can suck but life is good".

The colours are usually quite neon and bright, which stands out.
Space: The cricle is the only object and is placed at the centre, hence it should be the focus

Principles of Art
Rhythm: The lines are moving away from the circle evenly, at a constant speed.
Contrast: The colours of the cricle and the background is in contrast.
Dominance: The cirlce is larger than the lines
Harmony: But the cirlce and the lines are curved
Balance: The scene is quite symmetrical

Artist's Intention
Since the whole art is about Mental health, I guess that the artist is trying to use the circle in the centre to represent our feelings and thoughts. The lines that move away from the circle may represent ripples, to show that our thoughts and feelings can affect our behaviour, actions, etc.
