An eating disorder is defined as a disturbance in an individual’s eating behavior; whether it is from the lack of eating, or overeating. Anyone is at risk with an eating disorder, men, women, and even children are at risk too; no one is considered immune to this. There are many risks of having an eating disorder. Several things can lead to having an eating disorder such as stress, psychological and sociological reasoning, and even genetics. There are two commonly known eating disorders, bulimia and anorexia nervosa.

Stress takes an important role in a person’s life. When an individual is stressed, they usually cope with comfort, and what’s more comforting than food? This is where binge eating occurs. A person is likely to turn to comfort food rather than face reality and deal with it him or herself. Bulimia also takes place here. When someone has binged, the individual often notices that they start to gain weight and they go to the extremes to lose the weight that they have put on by eating. People suffering from Eating Disorder often have a very distorted image of their own body. While they may appear thin to others, they may view themselves as fat and attempt to hide their body under loose clothing. They will also have an obsessive preoccupation with their weight, and complain of being fat even when it is obvious to others that this is not the case.

In conclusion, factors that can lead to eating disorders are sociological, psychological, and genetics can cause a disturbance in a person’s eating behavior. Not only women, but men as well are victims of eating disorders and they are all highly at risk.

Promotion of reading in adolescents

It seems that reading books today is gradually being despised, especially for young people when information technology develops. Most people often pay attention to videos on TikTok or youtube but don't care about reading. That is the reason why the promotion of reading in adolescents is important.

Have you ever heard the reasons why reading is not common in the age of young people? In my opinion, I believe that the evolution of technology has the biggest influence on it. I’m sure that somebody prefers watching videos on youtube or Tiktok with interesting content to reading a paper with a lot of words. Instead of watching youtube, they can play games and it is normally more interesting than reading books, too. But some people don’t have enough time to read, they are busy with study and work so maybe reading is not on their timetable. Furthermore, the content of books is dull, also making readers feel uninterested. There are a lot of reasons for lack of reading but did you know the wonderful benefits that reading brings to us? Firstly, reading can help you gain knowledge. It helps improve our knowledge easily and comfortably. Reading books regularly helps us to improve our memory and concentration. Because sometimes we need extremely focus to understand the information mentioned in the book, and if we read one book several times our brain automatically remembers the main ideas of it. Furthermore, being well-read helps us expand vocabulary, making easy communication. And if we have a large container of vocabulary, it also can improve our writing skills. Besides, reading also aids our thinking in being logical, it is useful for us to arrange our memory and being better in the study. Base on those benefits, we can see that reading is very important. Now, we all know that the promotion of reading in adolescents is needed. But the question is how can we do it. The best way to promote reading is to connect reading to teens’ passion, you can give them the book or some documents relating to their hobbies. A book that they are interested in gives them motivation to continue reading. Moreover, the author can give readers the books with more illustration, because having a picture can decrease the boring of the non-picture books.

In conclusion, reading brings to us especially adolescent lots of benefit above. It is not a boring as you thought, you just need to find out your suitable way to read. That will be better for you to become a useful person. So try your best to read!

Communication between humans is always a compulsory thing in life. Through time, humans has developed something known as “technology” which is designed to improve our standard of living. Technology quickly impacts all aspects of our daily life including the way we interact with each other. By generating new methods of communication which is considered useful and convenient, it is step by step connecting us in a whole different way. One of the earliest impact of technology on linking people is the birth of phones. Humans back then had a massive demand on communication. So the old methods like sending mails or using birds to send letters were useful but they weren’t fast enough as it would take a few days of travel until the letters get to the receiver. To decrease the time taken to transmit information from one place to another, people invented phones. These are devices that allow us to call another person anywhere on the planet. The creation of them brings a lot of benefits to the daily life. Meeting directly or waiting for several days to be able to contact others is not necessary anymore, that can be done right away. The later variation of phones which is known as smartphones updates some new abilities to optimize them. New features are the abilities to text messages and to see each other through video call. Text messages are widely used when you want to convey an idea to someone but that idea is just a short one making it incovenient to call. As for video call, this function makes users feel close and less bored when calling someone because they can see the one they’re calling. The popularity of phones is undeniable with the unbelievable statistic of almost 90% people possessing phones. Moving on to the new century, a new communicating platform was introduced and has been used by most of the young people nowadays. The amazing platform that is being mentioned is social media. To describe it, it is a place where posting photographs of your own for every people to see and vice versa is possible. It also contains all the features of a normal phone. Famous social medias like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter are growing rapidly as the number of accounts increase dramatically day by day. According to the researches, about 60% of the world’s population have at least one social media account. The data is just estimated until 2020 that means there have been alot more people joining social media and the speed doesn’t seem to slow down. The newest method which is developed recently due to the detrimental effects of the corona virus pandemic allows students and adults can study or work from home. Google and Zoom are the pioneers in generating an online meeting rooms. Apps such as Google Meet or Zoom Cloud Meetings are now familiar with all of us since it has been a while from the day the world was locked down. The only change these two apps differ from the 2 mentioned technological ways is the quantity of people. 250 slots for Google Meet and 1000 slots for Zoom are more than enough for anyone. The quarantine is still going on and definitely cannot end soon so online meeting rooms are predicted to be more crowded. Overall, these new form of communication no matter how modern they are, their only purpose is to make life easier. Phones take role as the origin creating large premise for later products to be more optimal. With such good developping stage, the upcoming inventions of this field in the future are surely worth expecting.

Nowadays, people used to have eating discorder . But, what is eating discorder? According to some statements , eating disorders disrupt healthy eating behavior. This disturbance is a physiological consequence of malnutrition and can be reversed if diet is improved. Anorexia and bulimia, recognised as conditions in their own right, are two examples of eating disorders.I will explain 2 examples in the following paragraph.First, anorexia due to mental health: Constantly under pressure, stress, anxiety, sadness, mental overload, stress, forming a feeling of fatigue leading to loss of appetite. This state of fatigue and loss of appetite greatly affects the health and life of the patient, making the patient unable to concentrate, psychologically unstable, and possibly even personality changes.Second, bulimia is one of the example in eating discorder. With this disorder, you regularly consume large amounts of food and feel unable to stop eating. When you have binge eating disorder, you may feel embarrassed about how much you eat and want to stop.
