Let's interact!
Look at the list of places. What do you think people in these places typically eat, drink, and produce? Use these following items: chili peppers, electronics, potatoes, sugar, chocolate, oil, rubber, tea, coffee, porcelain, silk or tomatoes. So, what countries, cities or towns can you think of? Also, discuss where you think these products come from originally. :)

i think that all the countries have their own food, but the principal point here is where they come from, because in all the countries they have food for other countries because the size or savor. For example vegetables and fruits can come from america because the weather but like teas and species can be from india. China is another interesting country that has almost everything but sometimes they don't have original stuffs.
Countries adopt a lot of dishes and food for another places to be more interesting and sometimes to save money or to win it.

Hallo!

There is a lot of kind of food around the world. In India for example, they eat a lot of condiment food so, I think that chili peppers are from there. The tea provably come from Chine just like the porcelain, they drink tea because it helps with your body and they use a porcelain cups.

When I hear the word chocolate it always came to me Swizz even it is not from there they have the better chocolate ever.

The coffee of course is from Colombia, they have a lot of coffee sowings and in south of Mexico they have so many sugar.

Probably oil and tomatoes are from Italy, when I hear them together I imagine Italy salad.
About electronic provably are from USA, they are always knowing how to do thing for technology.

Like my partners said, we adopted some food from different places or even things, but the interesting here is that now is easier to get the food from other countries and to adopt them.

Hello classmates
About the topics:
In México there are several foods natives from the country like cacao which is used to make chocolate. Corn (Zea mays) which was domesticated until it has its natural form, thanks to the ancient tribes in Mesoamérica in the Proto-Neolithic era (5000 to 2500 a.c) The potatoe is originally native from Perú but the europeans perfected the work of cultivation that made its widespread success in Ireland and some caucasian countires.
The coffe comes from an Arabic country, the shepperds saw how crazy the goats turned in when they ate the berries in the bushes, so they discovered it.

From food to clothing and other products.

As Ana said, I also believe most of the products come from America. Like chocolate, chilli peppers, cofee and maybe potatos. When we talk about electronichs I think most of them come from Asia or India. I believe that porcelain comes from China but I do not know if there is another place where it was produced before. Oil might come from Italy and Tomatos from America but I am not sure.

Hello everyone!

Mexico is such a great country, our cuisine is something to be proud of! For example, we have one of the best cacao product around the world. Also we’re famous because of our chili peppers and our massive diversity of corn.

Actually, almost all the countries in South America have a great variety of products like potatoes from Peru, sugar from Brazil and the famous coffee from Colombia.

Tea is a great example of how a product can be such a huge part of the economy of a country. The export of tea is one of the main activities and incomes for India. On the other hand, China is well know by their tech advances and they are the principal provider of electronics around the world.

Hi!

I agree with Carolina, I think that all southamerica was very important in the history of the food of all america. I think that something very important too was the climate. Climate is basic for the growing of grains, trees, plants. I do think that the corn is from Mexico, the coffee beans may be from some place of southamerica. The silk definetly is from China but nowadays it is produced all around the world. Electronic devices could be from America (USA) but now it is all produced in China.
