Sports have been dealing with steroids for the last 20-30 years. Barry Bonds, greatest homerun hitter of all time, has been reported to steroids throughout his MLB career. Alex Rodriguez has been in conflict with steroids througout his career as well. Lance Armstrong, cheated with steroids on his tour de france bicycle race. When are these players going to learn that this is the wrong thing to do? Should sports implement a new and stricter limit? Should there be testing for every player, in every sport?

Athletes know that steroids is cheating, but yet they do it anyway. In my opinion, if you take steroids and get caught, you should be banned for life. There is no excuse for cheating in our sport. A sport is where you thrive to be the best you can possibly be. Not where you become something that you know you can't be.

Athletes argue that their biogenisis doctors persuade them to do steroids, to get money. It also helps them recover from injuries so that they can get back on track faster. Athletes think that they should be allowed to take steroids when they are hurt and they are unable to play. Still. Do we want them to cheat so they can recover from injuries faster?

Cheating is cheating. In any professional sport, steroids is cheating. Period. There is no excuse to getting caught and getting a second chance, because it was YOUR decision to take the drug in the first place. If players do this repetitively, they should no doubt, be banned for life. Cheating is worse than anything you could possibly do in any professional sport.
