The Society of the Holy Child Jesus is an international congregation of women religious with pontifical right. It was founded in Derby, England in 1846 by an American, a married woman and a mother of 5. Today, the sisters work is three continents: America, Europe and Africa. 

Our mission statement is "to help others to believe that God lives and acts in them and in our world, and to rejoice in His presence ".
