We made the interacting book, ‘Danial The Good Boy’ by using the theme of ‘children’s perpectives’. We used vibrant colours, a lot of textures and illustration from recycled things. 
We used simple sentences to ensure that the level of the book suits primary school children. All of the illustration are made by hand and only the words are typed. We want to show to the children that knowledge is vast, hence we put fun facts and interesting questions in  the almost most pages of the book using “opening up the partition”

We believe that the book can compete in the market. This is because they are no books published regarding educating children with good manners, hence causing children today are not exposed much on how they should behave. The book is made using the recycled materials and is cheap substances making the book can be sold in a reasonable price and affordable especially to the low income parents. The book fulfill many aspects in primary school education, including following the Ministry of Education syllabus, encouraging children to love English and that English is a fun subject, and most importantly, educating children about good manners. 

 Social impact

The project can give impact to the target audience by making them relate the story of the book with themselves. Through the usage of finger puppet of the main character of the story that is place in the middle of the book, readers can experience themselves to be Danial the good character by putting their fingers into the puppet while reading the book. The colourful illustration, catchy words and textures will make the target readers remember the points of the story and apply the good manner shown by the book. The target readers will also having fun with reading and creating the idealogy that English is easy by answering questions and reading interesting facts provided almost all of the pages. 

We hope that our interacting book, ‘’Danial the Good Boy”, will gain many attention due to its advantages and usefulness. We hope through our interacting book, the target readers will become more motivated to show good manners, study hard and smart, love and interested in English,  always try their best in doing anything and inspiring them that only they can change their lives. 

 

The objective of interacting book, “Danial The Good Boy”, was to educate and cultivate good moral values to the primary school children through the examples of good manners shown by the main character, Danial. The book use interesting illustration, catchy and easy words, and textures to make the children remember on how they are supposed to behave and apply them. The project intended to (1) teach the children about moral values; (2) to motivate the students that the future is in their hands; (3) to make children interested in English; and (4) to educate the children that knowledge is vast and have the love to read.
