-Implicit memory: tying your shoe, doing/remembering it without consciously doing it.
-Procedural Memory: a type of long term memory associated with an action that you remember how to do. (bike, driving a car)
-Semantic Memory: recalling common knowledge (letters, grass is green)
-Classically conditioned memories: responds to a conditioned stimulus, you remember during an encounter with things that you already implicitly associate. 
-Episodic memory: remembering a specific event (from an individual's perspective)
-Flashbulb memory: emotions associated with learning about an event, remembering learning about the shocking event (9/11, Kennedy killed)

If cue words are given for recalling memories, then the intensity of the memory will be 50% higher than the group that recalls memories without cue words.

Serial position effect:  Remember beginning and end well, middle not so much
Tip of the Tongue Phenomenon: Seldom used stuff is hard to pull out of memory.
Decay Theory: Things from the past gradually go away.
Interference Mnemonic (Proactive and Retroactive; PORN; Old w/ P and new w/ R)

-PORN EX: When learning a foreign language, the new words can interfere with the old ones.

-Schema: mental script, use the past
- Cues are for Recognition and recall (like in our experiment>)
- Memory is state dependent and dependent upon your mood. 

-Language Stages:
Babbling Stage>One Word Stage>Two Word Stage/Telegraphic Speech>
~Language Theories = Worf, BF Skinner, Chomsky
-Phonemes (cat to bat), when you change the phoneme you change the meaning.
-Morphemes are the smallest units that have meaning (I, pre, A, etc.)
