 Here are some examples of why I think students should choose what to learn. First, when students are zoning out and not paying attention our first impression would to tell them to pay attention and focus but, 60% of the time that doesn't actually work. Another example is a boy named Zavier. he attends a school that allows students to choose what to learn. Zavier is a very intelligent student who is now literally building lightning machines out of background knowledge and scraps. So, overall I think that students should choose what to learn. I think it would be awesome to get payed but it turned that might not be such a good idea.  Parents could use money as a motivation but kids should enjoy learning and want to learn not do it just because they want money. But kids work hard at school every day just like adults. Kids work on math, reading, science, P.E., drama, spelling, social studies, music, writing, and lots of other things.
