They should stop and think about children struggling in their classes. While the child could be experiencing language based challenges that could manifest in different classes, the language teacher and speech pathologist jointly came up with strategies to address the challenge that all the educators could possibly support. <br>2. Having a goal that is clearly explained with examples of how it looks/doesn't look like with clear measures of progress. <br>3. Also guiding and giving parents the tools to continue working with the child at home. This builds consistency for the child and helps them to get more practice and master the skill. A lot of times, parents do not know how to support the child at home and hence the child sees different practices at home and in school. This could lead to a lot of confusion for the child. </div>]]></description>
