Ballet is like a grain of sand. It starts out small, but after a while, it grows into something beautiful. A grain of sand turns into a pearl just like ballet turns into great beauty and character of no other. I believe that you have to believe in your goal to acheive it. With great confidence, you will carry great sucess…..

I would like to thank my friend Mrs. Alex, Ms. Gayle, and mom for inspiring me long ago when I was five. You helped me find my passion in dance again when it was lost. If it hadnt have been for you, I wouldn’t be here right this moment in pointe shoes and in dance class at all. Thank you so much, I really do appriciate how much you helped me on my way as a dancer to be right were I am now. Thank you.

Hi, my name is Maysa Rose, I am 12 years
old and I love ballet. Right now I am in the
6th grade and am having trouble juggling
both ballet and school. It is very
hard to balance both so it will be even.
Mom said school comes first and I agree
with her opinion, but for a fact, it
truly isn't easy. Next year we are thinking about maybe home-schooling. Ballet is my main goal
and is my dream..If I could wish for anything
in the world, it would be for me
to become a professional ballerina....

In a few weeks, I am going to be performing in the Wizard Of Oz and I am really excited, but I am a tad bit nervous because truthfully, we only started working on the dance a few weeks ago and the dance is in 2 weeks. I have class 4 days a week 5-6 classes each week but we only rehearse the dance once a week and so I am a little nervous about how this performance might turn out. I can handle it and I know that I am capable of a lot more than I sometimes tell myself I am. My family and friends believe in me, and I should too. Wish me luck! I will post soon and let you know how it went.
