  • click the refresh /reload button on your browser
  • try access a common website like  Google or Yahoo if those pages load normally the 408 request  timeout error only happens on the website you tried to access.
  • you may need to visit the website at a later time , since it may be a web traffic problem.

  • Ask the technology director to unblock the site.
  • ometimes they will unblock the site for you , and sometimes  they will deny your request.
