         <description><![CDATA[<div>Amazon is mainly an online retail company which is based in America and also they focuses upon the cloud computing technology or they are also known as cloud computing company. From the data obtained from 2<sup>nd</sup> quarter of 2017, Amazon employs more than 341,400 employees in their company and headquarter of the company is located in Seattle in Washington. Amazon is the undoubtedly the largest online based retailer with a revenue more than $ 135.98 billion in 2016. The company was found in the year 1994oin the month of July and Jeff Bezos is regarded as the founder of the company. There are many countries in which Amazon is present and also have different websites for each country in which they are present in. Amazon also ships their products in some of the countries where they do not have their website (Panagiotelis et al., 2014). There are several other records that Amazon has in their bag and some of them are; Amazon is the fourth largest private organisation in the world according to their value. Also, it is the internet based company which have the largest amount of revenue and is the eighth biggest employer in USA. </div><div>With the help of their mission and the vision statement, Amazon.com have become the largest online retailer in the world and the vision statement of Amazon states that they aim to become the most customer centric business in the world and find out that what the customers are willing to buy online. With the help of a few elements, Amazon have achieved what they have wished for and they are reaching the customers globally, prioritising their customers as well as providing the customers with a wide range of a products to choose from. </div><div>In order to reach their vision, Amazon is trying to provide their customers with best quality products and also reaching the customers with their product fast so that they are able to satisfy their customers. For the purpose of reaching their vision, there are three steps followed by Amazon which are offering the customers with lowest price for their products, selecting the best products for the customers as well as offering them utmost convenience. Technological implementation plays a significant role in Amazon so that they are able to serve their customers in an efficient manner which will be discussed throughout this assignment. </div>]]></description>
