Mambo is a moderate ballroom dance of Latin American origin, rhythmically similar to the rumba and cha-cha but having a more complex pattern of steps when danced. 
Most Mambo dances are in the time signature of 4/4 and it is danced at a medium pace.  Some of the famous Mambo dancers include Cachao López, Lou Bega, Orestes López and many others.
