Please remain in your identified 8 groups, you will have time to work together before the session to plan and explore your medicines area and can use your Independent Study Days and when not involved in the skills days.

We have identified a subject area for each group to focus on. 

Each group will feedback to the cohort on their allocated subject for approximately 5 – 10 minutes on Monday 12th May 2025. 

We have provided a medication template if you wish to use but you can present however you like – Word, Canva, PowerPoint presentation, images, poster. quiz, ..... we don't mind and it is up to you in your groups to decide and be creative!

Consider both women and baby.

Look at your MORA proficiencies regarding routes of administration, you may wish to link these into your presentations.

You will revisit anti emetic medication in module 5 so when on placement do ask questions regarding anti emetics, consider when they are administered and explore different anti emetics using the resources to guide you.

Alternatively, you may wish to use the templates in your MORA which can be located on PebblePad, or you could develop your own.

I highly recommend you commence using medication templates in Year 1 and continue to develop these throughout the course to support enhancing your understanding of pharmacology and medication.
