My timeline represents me and my entire life. It shows my accomplishments including my ups and downs.

1. Is there a ‘center’ or a central theme in your timeline and life? If you will give a title for your timeline what would it be and why?

I think the central theme of my timeline and life would be my personal growth. I gave my timeline the title "The Flower that Bloomed in Adversity" because for me, the peak of my growth so far was the time when my values and self-worth were tested because of bullying. I was able to overcome my bullies, and more importantly, to discover that I was able to excel despite adverse circumstances.

2. Identify the turning points in your timeline. What were the thoughts, feelings and actions that you experienced?

My turning point would be when I went back to regular school. I experienced happiness and excitement at first, but as the years went by, I regretted it. I mostly felt alone and stressed out because of opposition pressing on all sides. At the same time, the negative experience showed me how much my family loves and supports me.

3. Who are/were the most significant people in your life? How did they influence you?

The most significant people in my life were my parents. They influenced me by becoming the best artist I can be. They also encouraged me to always keep trying no matter what the outcome may be.

4. What would you change or add, if you could? How would each of these changes or additions affect your life, or even change its present course?

In my timeline I would change the part where I went back to regular school. I probably would have had more time to improve my art and I would have not been bullied. I'd be more open to and trusting of people instead of doubting their intentions as a result.

5. Where do you want to be in a year, 5 years, and 10 years? What do you expect your future timeline will be?

In five to ten years, I expect myself to be a great videographer/photographer and I expect my future timeline to be full of positive remarks and accomplishments.

5 things I am grateful for during my middle and late adolescent stage or things that can be relatively small in importance but made you remember a good event, experience, person, or thing in your life---then remember the good emotions that come with it:

1. My PACEs workbooks

•PACEs remind me of being homeschooled. Through homeschool I learned to be an independent student and to understand things by myself without being spoon-fed by a teacher.

2. My academic medals and prom awards

•My medals and awards remind me of the victorious feeling I had when I saw the defeated look on my bullies' faces. Being bullied doesn't sound like a blessing at all, but somehow it became one for me. I learned how to handle and understand people more and became tougher. I learned to stand up for myself instead of keeping silent.

3. My Fuji camera and other expensive art materials

•On my 18th birthday, my dad offered to throw me a cotillion but I chose expensive art materials for my birthday gift instead. I don't regret having no cotillion at all. I'd rather spend on things that would be useful to me than feed people who don't care about me at all. I'm thankful I made the right choice.

4. My Youth L.I.V.E. camp t-shirts

•My camp shirts remind me of the fun times and fine people I met in camp and in church. A lot of things that have happened in Youth L.I.V.E. actually shaped who I am now. Being there taught me the importance of having an intimate relationship with God and of fellowship with other Christian youths. I also learned the wisdom of choosing who you hang out with.

5. iAcademy Nexus

•I am thankful that I enrolled in a school that promotes and supports the arts. I am also thankful for my new classmates and teachers who help me improve as a person and as an artist.
