I enjoy watching anime and scrolling through TikTok when I have data. Additionally, I like reading Wattpad stories and playing badminton. I also enjoy cooking and baking. Furthermore, I love watching sunsets or sunrises and have a passion for traveling. I'm also interested in learning new things.

My proudest accomplishment was during my high school days when I was one of the honor students. I had the privilege of having my mom walk with me on stage and hang the medal around my neck. That moment is particularly special to me because I worked hard to make my parents proud, just like other parents hanging medals on their children. I could feel that they are proud and happy of the achievements I had accomplished.

My biggest influence and inspiration are my parents because despite the hardships we've faced, they remain strong. They selflessly help people without hesitation, even those who have been unkind to them in the past. Although sometimes, when we're in need, they may not be able to reciprocate the help. But God is good and always there for us, helping us overcome challenges.

I'm grateful to God for giving us parents who are lovable, kind, good, and responsible. They taught us good manners and the importance of kindness, encouraging us to share our blessings with others. They sacrificed a lot, working hard to provide us a good life, ensuring we have three meals a day and give what we need if there's extra money for that. They prioritize us over themselves, and I'm truly grateful for that.

This is why I'll work hard to accomplish my dreams and repay their hardships soon, giving them the comfortable life they deserve.

My goal in life is to become a successful engineer someday. Even though the road is bumpy, I won't give up because I know that God is with me, along with the support of my parents. That's why I'll work hard to accomplish it, even if it takes a long time; it's okay as long as I become successful one day.

Additionally, I want to make my parents happy, giving them the life they deserve and helping others in need, especially the less fortunate. In order to make that happen, I will strive hard and have faith in the Almighty Father that I will fulfill everything with his guidance.

I like singing even though I wasn't blessed with a nice voice. Additionally, I enjoy watching horror movies, but when I do, I always cover my face during the thrilling parts because I get scared. And I'm scared to watch as well because they might appear when I close my eyes.

So far, the challenges I've faced in life revolve around my studies. I must admit that the course I took up is quite challenging for me, especially because I struggle with analysis. There was a time when I considered shifting courses due to fear of wasting time and failing subjects, but my parents wouldn't allow it. I ended up continuing despite facing difficulties. I'm thankful to God that he hasn't presented me with too many challenges.

I am Maria Lou Gantuangco, and my relatives and close friends call me Mayo. Well, I don't like to be called that name, but I did accept it anyway because they keep calling me that, and some of them call me Maria or Lou. I didn't like my name before, so I asked my mama why my name is like that, and she just answered, 'I'm not the one who gave you the name; your father did.' So I guess my name comes from my Lola's because my maternal grandmother's names are Lourdes, and her sister is Maria Niña.

I am the second born, born on August 22, 2004, at the house in Barangay 8, Tuburan, Cebu. We live a simple and happy life, although sometimes we encounter problems, but thanks to God, we overcome them. I have two brothers, and I am the only girl. We were both born in August; I don't know if my parents planned it to be the same month.

I am a daughter they can rely on, a sister who is always there for them, and sometimes their second parent because when both of my parents are working, they trust me with the money, household chores, and cooking. My father is the one who taught me how to cook. I am also a friend, someone they can lean on or a crying shoulder during hard times. I am a good listener but not a good speaker, and their secrets are safe with me.

I would say that there's nothing special about me; I'm just a plain, sometimes tedious girl who is diffident to others. I typically like watching anime and reading. I am also interested in arts; I like painting sometimes. However, sometimes I would just lie down and spend my time on my phone. I also like eating, so I tend to run out of money; that's why my savings are gone. But I also find peace in natural things; it makes me happy to see those things. I love everything about nature, and it brings me so much joy when I travel. So I always treasure every moment.
