For example, bloody expensive transport, housing, tobacco basically the cost of living in Singapore. As we promote racial harmony, we need to understand one's practices and not discriminate or boycott their practices as Singapore allow free practice of religion. We need to learnt to have the attitude of give and take to overcome SBD in general.

Although minority Muslim women can freely wear the hijab in most settings in Singapore, some professions bar the use of headscarf due to uniform policies and other requirements at work.

Solutions to the issue:
The hijab has been a divisive issue for Muslims worldwide. Singapore stands by the importance of racial harmony however, it’s not just acknowledging these differences exist and living with them. It’s about knowing these differences exist, accepting them and embracing these differences.

In November 2021, Singapore's Prime Minister gave a speech that allowed Muslim staff working in the public healthcare sector including nurses to allowed to wear a tudung, or headscarf, at work if they choose to do so.
