What defines a president as "good" or "bad"? For example, FDR and JFK are commonly viewed by society as "good" presidents. However, FDR's New Deal greatly expanded the power of the national government, which could be viewed as alarming or concerning to some. Also, JFK was known for his extramarital affairs, so did he really have integrity? Respond to his prompt in 3-4 complete sentences.

A good president has the ability to know right and wrong, then executing what is right. They also need to have good foreign politics and make good allies, which will bring people together. A few bad ways that makes a president bad is doing a work that he only does so that he may leave a mark, and being biased and do hip things to make a society think he is cool (like he is in high school trying to impress people). What presidents do outside of their work kind of matters, everyone screws up and people are too forgiving in this era.

A good president is someone who does what he thinks is best for the country; with the help of congress and the senate. He takes the needs of the people and does his best to make the best choice for Americans. That is why FDR is seen so greatly, he went out pursuing what the American people needed. Not everything a president does is going to be in everyone's favor. Naturally what the presidents personal life will have some impact on you. I mean he really should not have a personal life because he chose to run for office and become president and he should act like a leader in every aspect of his life, or he really should not be a leader let alone the president.

I think so. You don't want to find you president doing drugs one night and in the morning, thinks everything is peachy keen. But on the side I think he can do what ever as long as it has no effect on everyone else.

A good president is someone who takes care of the peoples problems and keeps the government in order. They need to think of the consequences of their actions on the people and the government. Presidents like FDR are recognized as a good president because he made the choice to help the economy and the people of the US. Presidents outside of work need to be professional and take their role serious because they are a very important role in the government.

A good president is someone who looks at both sides of opinions. Who is honest fair and sometimes takes risks within reason. A bad president is someone who makes their personal life bring out too much attention. Makes questionable deals listen to his advisers.y7y

To me I don't really care what the president does in his time as long as it doesn't affect the people under him or her. So in that light, a good president is someone that knows how to lead and knows when change is necessary when it's best for the country. Although having a good rep. as a president usually helps get things done in their favor. While a bad president will allow people to walk over him and let the government use him as a pupet.

A good president is somebody who tries their best to keep the country happy and do the best they can. A good president should also have a good reputation. A good president should know what's right for the country and what's wrong. A good president should focus on issues that matter, and should be able to think quick in tough situations
