What is Kick-off meeting?

Ø  Gathering of interested parties to discuss a plan or strategy before launching a program or project.

 

Why?

Ø  Project kickoff meetings are more than just a feel good, meet and greet. It is the project manager’s first opportunity to set expectations across the entire project team, crack the ice that can inhibit team communication and ensure that your sponsor and stakeholders understand the project goals, deliverables and schedule milestones thereby helping the project team be successful.

•                    Clarify Methods/Expectations

4.       Discuss Next Steps for Team Members

•                    Read and contribute additions/corrections to meeting minutes

•                    Review the updated Management and Control Methods/ Expectations and contribute additions/corrections
