And the search for her plane and what happened to her is arguably one of the best unsolved mysteries of the 20th and 21st centuries.
I think that the documentary was better at giving information because it had the ability to tell the story to it's fullest extent. The story of Amelia Earhart has too much depth to be told in a three page article. I think if you want to tell the story of Amelia Earhart, you have to do it justice. And because of the circumstances of her disappearance, it's a better story to learn about first hand by seeing.
I don't think the assignment was particularly challenging, but it take up a lot of time depending on what topic you chose.
