Should we involve ourselves in globalization? First off what is necessary is to know what globalization and it can be considered as the act of businesses involving oneself with outside corporations meaning that businesses operate on a wider international scope or gaining international influence

Globalization can surely bring about the opportunities of lower costing goods in a country seeing that a country involves their self in globalization they would benefit greatly from this because they may seek cheaper good and be able to produce at a lower cost and be able to make easy profit.

Persons are more likely to enjoy higher living standards and higher purchasing power if globalization is implemented this would occur because a country may have foreign investors (multinational) investing in their island making it a stable and flexible island. It is also very feasible to implement globalization within a country to gain technology to be update to date and fast just as competing foreign countries. This is needed seeing that we have a lot of infant industries in the Caribbean.

It surely leads to a lot of capital inflows which is greatly needed in small islands seeing that our currency may not be necessarily “wanted” or high in quality as apposed to the United states dollar.
More capital inflows or money circulation with in a country with proceed to create employment for the population of a country which can in return allow individuals to utilize the resources and for the country itself to utilize the human resource to ensure productivity.

Education is also considered a positive effect of Globalization. For instance, when a Caribbean country is striving higher education is sometimes offered to different individuals who can afford it or
through scholarships which allows the parent company of the person to benefit either through recognition or through the individual who studies abroad came back to add to the company’s work force and enhance their abilities.

One disadvantage of Globalization could be, Economic treats. At times there are murders or unfair treatment of persons within a country ‘Caribbean’ this may cause foreign countries to stray from investing which may decline sales and revenue for a Caribbean country. In return this means that a Caribbean country should always try to maintain a positive image seeing as they are trying to attract ‘foreign countries.

Caribbean Integration by the Caribbean’s society might be thought of as a necessity or something that must happen. In short, Caribbean integration is when the ‘Caribbean’ works in a cohesive manner to ensure that the Caribbean does exceptionally well and that they all succeed in making wealth and enjoying returns from their hard work put out.
The interpretation that is being held on Caribbean integration is that it doesn’t make any sense especially with the famous saying “ One from nought leaves zero” sometimes ass Caribbean countries we stand strong in hard times such as disasters or bigger catastrophes but when it comes down to politics and implementing tariffs or one person speaking on behalf of all of the Caribbean we encounter issues and end up back to square one .

One advantage of Caribbean integration is that it brings about surely a positive aspect in religion. One may be ridiculed in foreign lands being of a certain religion. In the Caribbean there is less of a strain on what religion you can be you can walk around freely with out being harassed.

Another advantage of Caribbean integration would be that when Caribbean countries come together to help each other it may be for lowering tariffs for another country to gain stuff at a reasonable price “reasonable trade”. This can ensure that countries are not ‘’digging out each other eyes yet still making a profit ‘alongside that some cultural differences may pass seeing that there is interaction with several Caribbean countries. They may come to common grounds on preferences, food.

One Disadvantage of being in the foreign lands you are quicker thought of as having a target on you back due to religion or even due to the colour of your skin. Being Black may be expressed as beautiful, wearing your colour skin with pride especially how we were beaten, and mis treated during time of slavery.

Another disadvantage of Caribbean integration is that the Caribbean has less bargaining power over bigger countries ‘foreign’ it can lead to them being affected economically. They ‘Caribbean countries’ can see a significant decline in both their growth as a country example the income of money will come in at a slower rate or even less than it would have been if the country involved itself with globalization technology, human capital.

Lastly, the Caribbean is always at a disadvantage due to geographic location we are always more than likely to expect and receive Natural disasters so there are times where we build and economically and a fellow folk ‘Caribbean country ‘is affected by natural disasters whom we may need to help or even receive help from. When looked at such money being distributed across the islands it can’t be considered as wasted money in the sense that our money is always redistributed to aid other countries in the same issues that we may have assisted with last year or a year before such. In fair sight, this money can be used to do something much more.

In my opinions Caribbean integration is one that shows unity and defined loyalty however it is much better to be standing with the foreign countries seeing that they are and will forever be the standing and the running countries due to their wealth and capacity to absorb different financial cost ‘burdens’ they can also see to it that they covered even throughout natural disasters. It may be more profitable to be a citizen of a global village seeing that it will be a level playing field and that you can have more access to resources, foreign countries wanting to invest with in Caribbean countries. We cannot expect to help others if we do not help ourselves first.

Caribbean integration has basically little to no relevance even though the famous statement was made one from nought is zero by Dr. Eric Williams. Years of growth and conflicts received from other countries continue to show that a Caribbean country can fight on its on with the right money and resources involved. It may come across as selfish for not wanting to involve in Caribbean integration however Caribbean countries have shown to work against each other rather than with each other over the past years,
