I think there are pros and cons to both internationalism and isolationism, but I would more support internationalism because other countries supplied us with certain products that provide economic stability, such as most retail products which come from China. Also, if we were to help other countries in major fights such as WWI or WWII, those countries could provide aid to us if we were ever to need it. This provides strong support for the growth of the economy and for country security later on.

Isolationism and Internationalism

There are pros and cons to staying and running the country as isolationism and as internationalism. The United States was mostly isolationism before 1941 and focused on staying out of global affairs. Other country believed that internationalism was the better option. Personally I believe that both have there moments. It think that as a country it is important to have strong alliances, like supported by internationalism, while also avoid conflict. I think that it is important to stay neutral in conflicts for as long as possible. That being said helping other countries in wars such as WWI and WWII helps the country in the future because they will fight for us if ever needed. In conclusion I think that internationalism is the best course of action for both the economy and the country so long as we look at peaceful options before joining every war.

While both isolationism or internationalism have pros and cons, I support internationalism. I think that it is important for countries to create alliances, so that they can ensure security if we ever get into a war. It also can allow for them to be an active player in global affairs. It also provides economic stability because we can get supplies from other countries rather than having to rely on just us manufacturing everything. internationalism overall provided better support for our country

I would support internationalism after events like World War II, and the Great Depression. These events showed that countries are connected, and what happens in one place can affect others. If countries work together, they can prevent wars and help each other during hard times like economic crashes. Isolation didn’t really work before, so being involved with other nations is a better way to keep peace and stability.
