From all usrah that I joined, This Usrah gave me the space to reflect on my personal journey in my life and open my eyes about Islamic values. It helped me to choose my priorities and make more conscious choices. Second, a better understanding of the Qur'an and some fundamental principles of Islam. This Usrah has helped clarify key concepts that I can apply in my daily life.

In my perspective, I think we could benefit from exploring a wider range of topics, or more specifically, topics that relate to contemporary challenges faced by Muslims. We have been given an assignment for our Usrah's class. The topic that we chose was 'How should Muslims behave toward people around them?'. In this assignment, I was assigned to do some research about the adab towards neighbors and society, and I did this with my friend's, Haziq.

We chose this topic because we want to learn more about adab, we are not perfect and strive to get Allah's pleasure day by day. In fact, we must have strong relationships between Allah and mankind. Thus, this poster could benefit others to get more knowledge about Adab.

Based on the syllabus Usrah week 1, I learned that seeking knowledge in Islam includes sincerity and action, with adab being the core of the process. The Qur'an, as a guide to righteous deed, calls for accountability and mercy, as highlighted in Sūrah al-Isra' (17:9–21). Thus, interacting with the Qur'an involves reflection and applying its teachings in daily life to ensure that its guidance shapes one's actions. To sum up, these aspects ensure that ibadah is not only a physical action but also spiritually fulfilling connection with Allah.

Based on the syllabus Usrah week 2, I learned about the concept of accountability, faith, and Allah's mercy, assuring believers that Allah does not burden them beyond their capacity that is emphasized in Sūrah al-Baqarah (2:284–286). Then, the Ḥadīth Jibrīl, a key foundation of Islam and the core principles of faith, practice, and spirituality. The five pillars of Islam from this ḥadīth, which are shahadah, salah, zakat, fasting, and Hajj, are the essential practices that guide a Muslim's life in worship and service to Allah.

Through the syllabus week 3, I learned about several things, such as that Sūrah Al-Fātiḥah emphasizes belief in Allah’s oneness, mercy, and guidance, reinforcing Muslim faith in Allah’s sovereignty. Sūrah al-Infiṭār (82:10-12) shows the role of angels according to human deeds, emphasizing accountability. The belief in divine books (Kitab) connects with belief in Allah and the angels, as these books represent Allah’s guidance delivered to mankind through angels like Jibrīl. In conclusion, belief in Allah, Malā’ikah, and the Kitab forms a cohesive understanding of divine communication and guidance in Islam.

Based on the syllabus week 4, I learned that, first, Prophethood, as shown in Sūrah Nuh, is necessary to guide humanity, despite the challenges prophets face in delivering Allah's message. Then, the stages of Qiyāmah remind believers of the ultimate accountability and the importance of preparing for the afterlife. Last, belief in Qadā’ and Qadr teaches Muslims to trust in Allah’s wisdom, recognizing that all events happen according to His divine will while maintaining personal responsibility for their choices.

USRAH WEEK 5

Based on the syllabus Usrah week 5, I learned that, first, Al-Iḥsān, as described in Sūrah al-Isra’ (17:22–39), emphasizes excellence in worship and moral behavior and particularly towards parents . It is because the application of Iḥsān in daily life is illustrated by Al-Nawawi's Forty Hadith, which defines it as worshiping Allah with the consciousness of His presence. In terms of eschatology, Islamic teachings on Heaven and Hell show the importance of accountability that offering the promise of eternal reward for the righteous and the threat of punishment for the wrongdoers and motivating believers to strive for a life of virtue.

What I got from the first week was focused on introductions and fostering connections among participants through ta'aruf and ice-breaking activities. Then, the importance of setting the right intention for all actions was emphasized, along with applying proper amal, which means practices, and internalizing ihsan, which means positive virtues. These sessions were meaningful because participants were guided on how these elements, combined with hikmah (wisdom) from acts of worship, shape a meaningful spiritual life.

WEEK 2🌙

From this week, I learned about the reasons and sources of hikmah derived from different acts of worship. Through verses of the Qur'an, we can reflect on the wisdom behind the 5 daily prayers, sawm from dawn until maghrib, zakah to clarity our property, and hajj. Each act was related to its spiritual purpose, as revealed in verses like Surah Al-'Ankabut (29:45) for salah and Surah Al-Baqarah (2:183) for sawm.

WEEK 3🌟

From this week, we focus more about preparation for salah with khushu'. Key aspects such as taharah, the conditions for valid salah, and its essential pillars were discussed. Practical applications of salah in various situations, like qasr (shortened prayer), jama' (combined prayer), and prayers during illness, were also covered to ensure adaptability and consistency in worship to Allah SWT.

Based on week 4, we go through about virtues cultivated through salah with khushu. These included al-ta'ah, al-jihad, muhasabah, 'iffah, and tawaddu. These qualities were imported to enhance both the individual's spirituality and character

From Week 5, we learned about the virtues of sawm, which were examined, emphasizing patience, respect, and compassion. Participants reflected on how fasting fosters self-control, strengthens bonds with others, and nurtures empathy for the less fortunate.

Finally, from week 6, we studied the virtues of zakah and sadaqah. These acts instill tawakkul (reliance on Allah) by reminding individuals of Allah's provision and not forgetting to promote ukhuwwah through mutual care and support within the community.

Out of all the usrahs I joined, this one allowed me to be more reflective about my life's journey and to become more aware of Islamic principles. I was able to prioritize my tasks and make more thoughtful decisions because of it. Better knowledge of the Qur'an and some of the core tenets of Islam would come in second. I can use the important ideas that this Usrah has helped me understand in my day-to-day life.

I believe that we would gain by examining a greater variety of subjects, or more especially, subjects that are relevant to the difficulties that Muslims face today. We chose this topic because we want to learn more about virtues in salah with khusyu', it is beacuse we just a normal person, we are not perfect and strive to get Allah's pleasure day by day. In fact, we must have strong relationships between Allah and mankind. Thus, this poster could benefit others to get more knowledge about how to khusyu' in salah.
