A thing about Korea that everybody thinks, is that all Koreans get plastic surgery. One of the reasons why they believe that, is because the people living there, they really do have perfect features. Clear soft skin, perfect face shape and nose and even perfect bodies. The reality is, the concept of beauty there definitely has high standards, but not every single korean is interested or wants to modify their face, plus that not everybody can afford it. But it's true that Korea is known also for being the "plastic surgery capital of the world", and it's a normal and common thing for korean parents to gift plastic surgery money to their kids, as graduation presents.

Now I want to talk to you about a funny "stereotype". The reality is, not every korean man is like the ones you'll see in k-dramas. I personally love korean dramas, and it's true that all the love series I've watched included "the perfect man", or even two of them. The reality is that not all Korean man fits the "perfect k-drama oppa (a man older than you who can be your lover, friend or brother) archetype". It's true that kimchi is very popular when it comes to food, but it doesn't apply to everyone. Younger generations tends now to eat more "different" types of food. Korean educational system is hard, which is actually true. Korean students do have a long school program and lots of work to do. I used to watch Korean vlogs, and listened to students who are the same age as me, saying that school starts at 7.30am in the morning and ends at 7pm.
