I cannot say I am the biggest fan of war, but I am a sucker for ancient weapons from different cultures and eras. My theme will display three weapons from the Greek, Islamic and Egyptian cultures. What I find most interesting about the three weapons more notably from the Islamic and Egyptian weapons is how carefully decorated they are. While all three are imbedded with decorative patterns the Islamic sword has "according to Gods will" written in it as well. The Islamic weapon was also interesting enough was used by Islamic rulers to show their position instead of a crown. While the Islamic weapon is not a war weapon like the other two, I decided to display this one because of how carefully crafted the finished product was.
