         <description><![CDATA[<p>Ather the battle in Lexington the 700 British soldiers marched Their way to Concord just to find 4000 military and minutemen causing the British to retreat causing 175 dead and 170 of the British soldiers wounded.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>After the British General Thomas Gage and the British troops retreated into Boston the Americans went to the closest hill taking position on breeds hill and then the British came to take breeds hill while the Americans where very low on ammo or gunpowder colonel William Prescott told them "Don't fire until you see their whites of their eyes" causing 1000 British casualties and only 400 colonial casualties you could count the victory for the colonials because of the casualties but they also retreated.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>when the Americans were doing the revolutionary war the British at fort Ticonderoga didn't get the message yet and when the green mountain boys snuck into the fort the leaders earthen Allen and Benedict took the fort without firing a single shot and what the Patriots get from the fort was 60 cannons the Americans transported to Boston to start the siege of Boston.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>it started on a Christmas night when the Americans sneaked across a river into Trenton casing yet another sneak attack against the Hessian's with the Hessian's completely taken by suprized they surrendered with 25 Hessian's killed and 90 wounded and only 2 of Washington's men freezed to death and 3 of them wounded</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>this battle was about to be started and was going off strong because of a new tacit the British made and was called divide and concur it involved three armies they where all British the armies had three generals but two of the army's left one because of news George Washington was else where and the other one because of a false rumor about how the American army out numbered their army by a lot only leaving general Burgoyne by himself and when he and his army got there a battle started between him and the Americans and Ather a month the Americans stood victorious and Ather the battle the French and Spanish helped us</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>this is Washington's winter camp where soldiers suffered from the lack of food and no pay in the strong winter more then 2,500 of washington's men died of starvation or exposure ather a while two forefingers arrived marquis and baron who was a German officer that was suprized by the lack of training of the continental troops not only did he train then he also gave them a sense of pride and ather a year the continental army emerged as a trained army.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>in the early stages of the American revolution British officials built fort Vincennes ather a while named Sackville British lieutenant henry arrived in late 1778 with 90 British regulars and 200 native allies clark departed Kaskaskia on Feb 6, 1779 with 172 American militiamen on Feb 23 Clark's forces approached the garrison tho the French was were sympathetic to the American cause they did not alert the fort or oppose clarks approach clark ordered a barricaded built faceing the forts gate and both sides traded fire over the night on the 24 of Feb Clark demanded that Hamilton surrender but was rejected but agreed to meet Clark to discuss terms but a war party of natives and French Canadians entered the the town unaware of the American occupation ather a short skirmish clark captured six and allowed the rest to leave releasing two French prisoners Clark had two natives tomahawked to death in view of the fort and then scalped and thrown in a fire. this scared the hair collector and then surrendered</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>the Battle of Yorktown the last major battle of the American revolution where general Cornwallis army took a defensive position at Yorktown Washington recognized the position as dangerous to Cornwallis and sent his army and the French to surround Cornwallis  the French sealed off the Chesapeake bay from British ships Cornwallis forced to surrender his whole army to Washington it may be the last major battle but it is not the end of the war! </p>]]></description>
