Dhaka had no rail system in the past, and the streets were always full of cars. Now, upset residents hope that this situation is going to change.

Last week, the first metro line finally opened after six years of construction. The first line is a part of a planned network of six lines and more than 100 stations. People often spent several hours to travel to work by car, so they were very excited to take the first train ride.

Officials expect that around 60,000 passengers will use the line every hour.  An official announced that one carriage on every train would be for women only.

Difficult words: populous (a place with many people living in it), resident (a person who lives in a specific place), carriage (a part of a train where people can sit). ''

Living in a big city like Dhaka can be difficult, especially when we are talking about the traffic.
All my life, I lived in a small town, where traffic was a problem only on holidays.
When I started college, I understood what it means to sit for hours in traffic, whether on the bus or in the car.... you lose precious time, energy, nerves, money etc.
But a well-established network, where everything work according to a schedule without big delays and with established routes, it would make our movement in the city more efficient.
Therefore, I totally agree with a rail system that will ensure the efficient, fast, cheap and safe movement of travelers, also creating less traffic, making it easier for people to get places.

Hello Charlie. 
I'm Nancy, your colleague from English class. Sorry to bother you, I hope you have a few minutes to read my email. If you remember our last conversation, I told you I'm a keen book lover, and crime book series are like a dessert I love and enjoy after a long day, are my way to relax and put myself together.
A few weeks ago, I bought two volumes of the Sherlock Holmes series but I can't find anywhere the 3rd one.  I've checked at local libraries, but they're out of stock, and online delivery can take up to a month or even more. 
Bearing in mind that you've already read the series and you also have it in your biblioteque, I was wondering if you can please lend it for less than a week.  A part of me wants to wait to have the full collection, but I'm absorbed by the subject and can't let go. Plus, after I finish the 10th volume, we can discuss it over a cup of coffee, if you're interested. I'd love to hear your perspective.

One way to achieve this is by cutting unnecessary expenses, reducing energy costs and negotiating better deals with suppliers to make the budget more efficient.
If we don't solve the problems of our staff we will lose valuable employees and having to invest in training new ones. In order to avoid that, we can communicate openly, provide training and recognize and reward good performance.
It's important to keep in mind that dealing with unhappy staff requires a balance of firmness and compassion.
To increase sales, we can implement a loyalty program, to encourage customers to return to your store and spend more money; to optimize the store layout to increase the efficiency of customer flow. Additionally, utilizing online marketplaces can expand the store's reach.

I am writing to express my opinion on the proposed traffic ban in the city centre. I believe that this is a highly controversial issue, and one that requires careful consideration and debate.

On the one hand, I can see the benefits of making the city centre a car-free zone. This would reduce pollution and noise, and make the area more pleasant for pedestrians and cyclists. It would also promote active transportation and encourage more people to walk or cycle to work or to shop.

On the other hand, I can also understand the concerns of those who work or live in the city centre. They may rely on their cars to get around, and may find it difficult or impossible to get to their jobs or homes if the ban is implemented. Additionally, the ban may lead to increased traffic congestion in surrounding areas, and make it harder for emergency vehicles to access the city centre.
Summarizing these aspects, I believe that a more nuanced approach is needed. Perhaps there could be a ban on cars during certain hours of the day, or a permit system that allows residents and workers in the city centre to continue using their cars.

In the end, the goal should be a balance between the needs of all stakeholders, and to find a solution that is fair and equitable for everyone.
