         <description><![CDATA[<p>In order to govern France more effectively, King Louis summoned the estates general, made up of all 3 estates, who would decide on what France would do during the crisis. However, the 1st two estates were able to decide all of the laws because they held the majority of the votes compared to the 3rd estate, which hurt France even more.</p>]]></description>

When the people guarding the Bastille refused the mob stormed it the prison and released all 7 of the prisoners that were kept inside. He was exiled to St. Helena, an island far away, where he lives under guard by forces. He died there in 1821.</p>]]></description>
