◦Go to your Group Project Wiki and start a new page, called: Case Study!

◦What the Case Study must involve is: two people (two nurses, two employees, nurse and M.D... you choose!) and a CONFLICT or NEGOTIATION. It should be based on the imaginary setting you have been creating.  ◾Answer these questions:

◾If it is a negotiation:
◾What is the real problem? (the interests, not positions)
◾What is the BATNA* of each person, whose is stronger?
◾What are the power issues?
◾What are the other considerations in the case?
◾What should the nurse leader/manager do?

◾If it is a conflict:
◾What is the problem?
◾What are the key issues?
◾What is the perspective of each person in the conflict?
◾What should the nurse leader do?
◾What leadership style would be most appropriate for this situation?
