         <description><![CDATA[<div><em> </em>A firewall is a software utility or hardware device that acts as a filter for data entering or leaving a network or computer. You could think of a firewall as a security guard that decides who enters or exits a building. A firewall works by blocking or restricting network ports. Firewalls are commonly used to help prevent unauthorized access to both company and home networks. <br> </div><div>You can implement a firewall in either hardware or software form, or a combination of both. Firewalls prevent unauthorized Internet users from accessing private networks connected to the Internet, especially intranets. All messages entering or leaving the intranet must pass through the firewall, which examines each message and blocks those that do not meet the specified security criteria. <br><br></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A root account or a "superuser" is a special user account which is used for system administration.<br><br>In Unix-Like OS's, the name "Root" originates from the fact that "root" was the only user account that had permission to modify the root directory of a Unix System. Root is the conventional name of the user who has all rights or permissions (to all files and programs) in all modes (single- or multi-user).<br>It is often recommended that no-one use <em>root</em> as their normal user account, this is because simple typographical errors in entering commands may cause a drastic and major damage.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> Anti-virus software is a program or set of programs that are designed to prevent, search for, detect, and remove software viruses, and other malicious software like worms, trojans, adware, and more. For example Windows 10 has an inbuilt antivirus that comes with it, called Windows defender. It blocks malware and attempts to keep viruses away, however as it is free and come with windows, it is not the best. Sometime viruses are able to find their way past the antivirus hence why you can get another anti-virus to install onto the computer, which cost.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>(read, write, and execute within Linux).<br>Read:<br>Access to a directory means that the user can read the contents. The user can look at the filenames inside the directory.<br>Write:<br>Access means that the user can add or delete files from the directory.<br>Execute<br>Executing a directory doesn't really make sense, so think of this as a traverse permission.<br>A user must have execute access to the bin directory in order to execute the ls or the cd command. <br><br></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
