         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the time of 1800-1848 Thomas Jefferson's presidency was coming to an end and Tyler's was next in line. Jefferson made an unconstitutional purchase known as the Louisiana Purchase to expand America. The Industrial Revolution began and there where major advances in technology that the North and South benefited from. However, immigration became popular topic of discussion during this time period. Immigrants weren't welcomed and it became hard for them to find jobs. Women roles began to change due to them working in factories for low wages.</div>]]></description>
